Strategy Formulation for Technology Organizations

In order to compete effectively and stay focused during a disruptive innovation, organizations need a coherent and realistic strategy.  

In this workshop, participants will first learn the fundamentals of strategy formulation and then collaborate to define a strategy for their organizations.

Topics covered include:

The competitive environment: economic, regulatory, political and social dimensions; technology dimensions including innovative technology; market and competitive dimensions.
Identifying strengths and weaknesses, including technological, operational, financial and management.
The critical role of de facto standards
The critical role of changes in the economic, political and technology dimensions.

This workshop is appropriate for a management offsite.
